Product Description
DURAK Duratex CFR® is a sewing thread made of 100% high-tenacity continuous filament textured polyester with flame-retardant properties. Through a chemical coating process, its surface is treated with a flame-retardant chemical in compliance with standards. Even after 20 washes, it maintains its flame-retardant feature according to NFPA 701. When removed from the flame source, it self-extinguishes by melting. It shows high resistance to abrasion in high-speed sewing. With its high strength, bright colors, wide range of thicknesses, and superior performance, it is preferred in a wide variety of applications.
