Durak Durafix WR® is water repellent sewing threads produced from 100% high strength continuous filament polyester. It has a specially formulated polish that provides a high degree of water resistance. Therefore, it is an excellent choice for outdoor products, shoes and accessories. It prevents capillary effect with its PFC-free water-preventing coating material and thus ensures that water is not absorbed by the thread.. Using the correct stitch tension prevents water from being carried through the eye of the needle. High tensile strength and optimum stretching properties produce smooth and attractive seams in leather shoes. It is specially oiled to give a high strength to fineness ratio and a smooth, refined look. Lubrication helps it perform well while sewing.
